ABOUT THE ROLE The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a variety of light and heavy equipment and tools in a safe and appropriate manner as assigned. The incumbent operates and performs maintenance (i.e. road maintenance and construction, snow removal), using equipment such as but not limited to dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, tractors, front loaders, front end loaders with snow blower attachment, backhoes, and graders.
