All trade apprentices working at Seaspan share a common goal of achieving their Red Seal endorsement and becoming a certified Journeyperson. This endorsement promotes excellence to employers, instills pride in skilled workers, and facilitates labour mobility within Canada. Most apprenticeship opportunities at Seaspan require candidates to have successfully completed their foundations or level 1 of training at a recognized training institution.
