Job Summary: Proficient in the following areas: Current weather observations e.g Metars/ Speci, MET reports etc). Forecasts e.g Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF), Area Forecast, Route Forecast, Take-off, and Landing trend forecast. Aerodrome warnings, Wind shear warnings, SIGMET. Must be very familiar with various Meteorological websites for gathering weather related information Advising operating pilots when they need MET inputs.
