We're looking for passionate people who can go beyond sightseeing and help guests discover the stories, traditions, and values that make Japan unique. 【The Mission】 This isn't traditional tour guiding. As a WOWie (Cultural Storyteller), you'll help travelers understand the people, history, craftsmanship, and culture behind each destination. Rather than simply explaining facts, you'll create memorable experiences that help guests connect with the spirit of Japan. 【Experiences You'll Lead】 We're currently recruiting cultural storytellers for experiences including: ・Food & Drink – Introduce guests to sake breweries, whisky distilleries, hidden bars, local markets, and regional food culture. ・Pop Culture & Animation – Explore Japan's legendary animation culture in areas like Mitaka and Kichijoji. ・Arts & Crafts – Share the stories of traditional artisans and local creators. ・Cultural Experiences – Including Toyosu Market, traditional workshops, and other unique locations across Japan. 【Who We're Looking For】 ・Fluent or near-native English communication skills ・Passion for Japanese culture, food, history, art, or local communities ・Strong hospitality mindset and a friendly, professional attitude ・Flexible and reliable ・Previous guiding experience is welcome but not required — comprehensive training is provided. 【Why Join WOW?】 ・Flexible Schedule – Choose projects that fit your availability. ・Competitive Pay – Starting from ¥1,500/hour (project rates vary depending on the experience). ・Exclusive Access – Visit unique places and learn stories that even many locals don't know. ・Training – Learn storytelling techniques and guiding skills from our team. ・Grow With Us – Be part of the founding community helping shape the future of cultural tourism. 【Location】 Project locations are available across Japan, with current demand especially in: ・Tokyo ・Kyoto ・Osaka ・Other major tourist destinations 【Application Process】 1.
