Summary Description The purpose this role is to develop a comprehensive network optimization and Operational improvement strategy for Hyundai business over the MEA markets considering the competitors network, new market trends, price competitiveness and future projects. This position demands a high degree of independent judgment across various areas, including critical issue resolution, problem-solving and distributor management. The role involves making strategic decisions that significantly impact the organization in terms of presence in the market, requiring a blend of analytical skills, industry expertise, and proactive leadership. Role & Responsibilities Optimize Network Market Status: Develop and implement FBB strategy to enhance the performance and optimize the coverage for our MEA distributors vs. competitorsDevelop guidelines for DND activity: Creating Partner/Assessment customized guidelines for MEA regionImplement Exclusivity Guidelines: Ensure that our Hyundai partners follow the exclusivity guideline to support business growth.Manage Dealer Network Operations: Oversee dealer appointments, terminations, replacements, and upgrades; implement processes and programs to boost dealer profitability.Ensure Compliance: Verify that all dealerships comply with Hyundai global Dealer standards thru the HDPM (Hyundai Dealer performance management) platform.Monitor Competition: Analyze competitors’ policies and point of sales to stay competitive.On-Site Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular visits to distributors and sales facilities to evaluate performance, ensure compliance with standards, and provide on-the-ground support. Perform in-depth audits and assessments of dealer operations and customer interactions.Strategy and Relationship Management: Meet with key stakeholders, including distributors, regional managers, and senior leadership, to discuss strategies, performance, and business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and partners through face-to-face interactions. Program Implementation and Monitoring: Oversee the rollout and monitoring of programs like the Hyundai Test Drive Policy across different regions.Events/Conventions: Develop and execute impactful dealer events and conventions that strengthen brand presence and dealer relationships. Authority Strategic Planning and Implementation: Strategic Decisions: Formulate and execute strategies to optimize network performance, dealer operations, and customer convenience. Partners (Distributors) Assessment: Judgment: Evaluate partner performance based on established metrics and performance criteria. Actions: Make recommendations regarding termination, appointment, or program development to enhance Hyundai partner situation in the market. Problem Solving: Initiative: Develop and implement strategic solutions for operational and performance challenges. Responsibility: Exercise discretion in applying problem-solving approaches tailored to specific scenarios, considering both short-term and long-term impacts. Critical Issues and Problem Identification: Autonomy: Independently identify and assess critical issues impacting distributor and sales facility performance. Decision-Making: Utilize analytical skills and industry knowledge to prioritize and address complex problems effectively Job Requirements Education Must hold a bachelor’s degree Master’s degree is a plus Related Experience Minimum 7 years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer/distributor with operational activities (Sales, network development). Minimum five years in a managerial role with a focus on Dealer network development (DND) Cross-functional team management experience is required. Skill/Knowledge P&L Analysis Driving Conversions Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word Software Skills experience is a plus: Oracle, Salesforce, Autoline Languages Skills: Fluent in Arabic and English. French language is a pulse Physical Requirements Normal office duties in Region HQ 20-25% travel requirements.
