Responsibilities Prepare and perform all surgical procedures in a sterile manner, observing all principles of asepsis and sterility. Coordinate and prepare surgical equipment, instrument and consumables specific to the daily surgical list and preferences of surgeon. Conduct a full count of instruments and accessories before the start of an operation, after the closure of any major cavity, and the end of the operation.
