We're looking for a freelance chef at Mr. Smith's Loft in Groningen to bring our international menu to life and surprise guests with flavors from around the world. About our kitchen Our menu is a culinary journey: from classic dishes with a twist to surprising flavor sensations from Asia, South America, and the Middle East. At Mr. Smith's Loft, we believe in quality, creativity, and experience. You'll have the opportunity to help shape a menu that never gets old and offers space for your ideas and inspiration. What are you going to do? Independently prepare and present dishes from various world cuisines. Brainstorming and developing new dishes and specials for our extensive menu. Preparing (mise-en-place) and executing a smooth service, even during peak periods. Monitoring quality, taste and presentation according to our high standards. Monitoring hygiene and food safety (HACCP). Collaborate with the team and mentor trainees or assistant chefs. What do we offer you?
