The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring that all security protocols are followed. You will be required to respond promptly to alarms and incidents, maintaining a high level of alertness at all times. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be required to interact with staff and the public, providing assistance and information as needed. In this role, you will conduct regular inspections of the premises, report any suspicious activities, and maintain logs of daily activities and incidents. You will also be responsible for controlling access to the property, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry. Additionally, you may be called upon to participate in safety drills and training sessions, helping to foster a culture of safety awareness among all personnel. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior security experience considered an asset. A valid security license and first aid certification are preferred.
