Database Administrator (M/F/D) - Lisbon

Triangle Talent Portugal is currently recruiting a Database Administrator (M/F/D) to join a prestigious, reference company located in Lisbon. We are looking for a profile with strong organizational skills, rigor, and a proactive attitude to ensure the correct execution of database administration, monitoring, and optimization tasks, contributing to the continuous improvement of internal IT processes and infrastructure. Main Responsibilities: Provide specialized technical support in Database Administration services (Oracle / MySQL / Exadata), responding to complex problems and queries. Monitor and resolve day-to-day database problems under team management, ensuring optimal performance. Contribute to the implementation and support of projects involving databases. Collaborate with various teams that support software that depends on databases. Participate in the implementation of best practices, security standards, and process improvements in database services. Participate in the development of technical documentation whenever requested. Communicate effectively to provide support and collaborate with team members on ongoing operations and active projects. Perform ongoing operational tasks, as well as design and implement projects across different database technologies. Desired Profile: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Database Administration, specifically managing Oracle databases of various versions and MySQL. Solid knowledge of Oracle Database, MySQL, OracleRAC, and Dataguard; knowledge of Exadata. Database management experience in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is considered a strong differentiator. Language skills: Portuguese (native level) and English (minimum B1 level). Availability to work in a hybrid model, with at least two days in person per week in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. Availability to provide on-call services (24/7) on a rotating basis with other team members. Continuous pursuit of learning, technical updating, and accountability.
