IT Engineer (M/F/D) - Lisboa

Triangle Talent Portugal is hiring an IT Engineer (M/F/D) for direct integration into a leading client company operating in the airport logistics and industrial automation sector, based in Lisbon. Functions: • Provide technical support and resolve hardware and software incidents, ensuring a high level of service quality; • Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure components; • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system stability, performance, and security; • Proactively monitor infrastructure performance and act to reduce recurring issues; • Support system updates, patching, and upgrade processes; • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records; • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors in the implementation of infrastructure solutions; • Participate in continuous improvement and digital transformation projects; • Travel to customer sites to prepare infrastructure, perform testing and validation activities, and support production-ready deployments. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; • Proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting within enterprise environments; • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls; • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills; • Experience with virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar); • Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage technologies, backup, and recovery solutions is considered a plus; • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, including system hardening, patch management, access control, and vulnerability management, is highly valued; • Ability to contribute to IT project delivery, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, timelines, and stakeholder requirements; • Experience working with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams in complex technical environments; • Good command of English; • Availability for national and international travel.
