Java Back-End Engineer. (m/f).

IT House is looking for a Java Back-End Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Logistics and Transportation sector, located in Porto. Main Responsabilities - Develop the next generation of our Transport management system; - Use modern methods, tools and technologies to realize exciting projects; - Working on new or modernized components for our innovative Road solutions by using container technology, suitable databases and cloud services professionally; - Contribute knowledge as an innovation Leader to various technical communities and develop new, innovative ideas for the entire company. Requirements - Degree in (business) computer science, a comparable qualification or several years of experience as a developer; - Extensive experience in the development of Java-based backend applications; - Good knowledge of the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot; - Experience with the development of RESTful web services and APIs; - Solid knowledge of the use of databases (SQL, Hibernate and JPA); - Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) is an advantage; - Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working; - Good knowledge of English and the ability to collaborate successfully in an agile environment.
