You’ll be responsible for preparing, painting, vinyl wrapping and finishing Formula One components—delivering the highest standard of visual excellence without ever compromising aerodynamic performance.Prepare surfaces to ensure flawless finish and protect aerodynamic performanceCarry out detailed masking and re-masking to achieve precision finishingApply vinyl wraps and detailing to the highest standards, including critical edge treatmentsSpray paint components in line with design and marketing intent across race and show car programmesFinish 3D printed parts, tooling and pattern workDrive weight optimisation while maintaining uncompromised qualityWork safely and in line with all health and safety requirementsCompany DescriptionAt McLaren, our mission is to set the standard for high performance in sport. High performance starts with you.QualificationsExperience in high-end paint processes (masking, priming, colour finishing) within motorsport or similar industriesStrong knowledge of vinyl application techniques and finishing standardsUnderstanding of composite components and their finishing to F1 aerodynamic and brand standardsExperience in process improvement and continuous developmentPersonal attributesExceptional attention to detailAble to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentResults-driven with a relentless focus on qualityStrong team player who supports the wider team and objectivesAdditional InformationSuccess in racing comes from bringing together talented people with different skills, perspectives and experiences.
