Welder and Fabricator Essential Skills Metal fabrication and layout. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their capabilities, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read prints and calculate measurements. Sawing, punching, bending, drilling, assembly. Mig welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to use a plasma machine is a plus. 2 years of metal fabrication and welding experience and/or equivalent training and education.
