AIRFIELD CLEARING EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - U.S. Marine Corps

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Performing preventive maintenance on grounds keeping equipment; 2) Performing basic carpentry and plumbing tasks; and 3) Operating a variety of vehicles/equipment around for snow removal and grounds keeping tasks. You will comply with safe driving rules when driving and maneuvering vehicles in all conditions. You will maneuver vehicles around parked aircraft and back vehicles close to aircraft. You will maintain continuous communication with Air Traffic Control Tower during airfield sweeping events. You will utilize safe work practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clear work environment.
