CBP Senior Representative - Customs and Border Protection

Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Conducting senior-level policy analysis, research, evaluations, studies, cost-benefit analyses, resource assessments, or program reviews on international customs administration, trade facilitation, border security, enforcement, compliance, transportation, or international economic issues. Developing, reviewing, or coordinating expert recommendations, policy proposals, reports, strategic communications, procedural documents, guidance, briefing materials, presentations, speeches, or other products for senior leadership, international organizations, or high-level government officials. Serving as a liaison, representative, or technical advisor between a government agency and international organizations, foreign administrations, intergovernmental bodies, private sector stakeholders, or other external partners on customs, trade, enforcement, compliance, or border management matters. Representing an organization in high-level meetings, negotiations, conferences, working groups, seminars, training programs, or international forums involving customs administration, trade facilitation, enforcement, compliance, or international policy development. Coordinating with multiple internal offices, U.S. government stakeholders, international partners, or WCO-related entities to ensure organizational priorities are incorporated into international policies, initiatives, procedures, strategic plans, or senior-level decisions.
