You will supervise employees responsible for accomplishing all plastic fabricator work required in the repair and maintenance of ships and submarines.
You will evaluate manpower requirements and reassign personnel as necessary to maintain project schedule.
You will mentor and provide on-the-job training for plastic fabricator personnel.
You will direct all employees on the crew to work in a safe manner by abiding with all safety rules.
You will inform superiors of issues that may impact schedule, cost, and quality.
You will make appraisals of work performance and recommend subordinates for promotions, awards, disciplinary actions and training.
You will plan the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools to accomplish nuclear and non-nuclear work operations.
You will supervise the lay-out, cutting, fitting, installation and removal of foam plastics, polyimide and other types of insulation on submarines and surface ships.
