Cook Leader NL-04 - United States Army Installation Management Command

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possess the ability to lead employees engaged in cooking duties. Ability to do the work of the position under normal supervision. Demonstrated work experience directly related to the duties to be performed. Experience must be listed on your resume to receive consideration. Works under the supervision of the activity manager who issues instructions on work sequences, procedures, methods, and deadlines, and relies on the incumbent to assure that other members of the group carry out work assignments. Leads a staff of 3 or more NA-04 cooks and NA-02 food service workers in the preparation of a variety of menu items. Performs a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing, such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and fresh or canned vegetables. Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading. Weighs, measures, and assembles ingredients for regular and modified menu items. Performs other duties as assigned.
