Eligibility Requirements

Age The City generally requires applicants to be 18 years old. It will be noted on the job announcement if applicants under age 18 are allowed to apply. Criminal Background Checks For certain positions, an employment offer is made based on the applicant passing a criminal background check. The City evaluates whether past convictions are substantially related to the job duties. The City does not discriminate based on arrest or conviction record. If a job offer is withdrawn, the candidate will be informed of the reasons why this occurred.
