Motor Vehicle Operator (CYS) NA-06 - United States Army Installation Management Command

A qualified candidate must possess the following: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner. Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job. Requires a valid state driver's license to operate a 15 passenger vehicle. To be found eligible, proof of education must be submitted with the application along with a copy of a current valid driver's license. Develops and follows efficient, consistent and safe bus routes for routine trips (e.g., to and from school) to minimize transportation time. Ensures the safety and well-being of children, youth and adults being transported to and from the program and on field trips. Practices bus evacuation following prescribed procedures with children and youth on a monthly basis. Arranges for and ensures completion of routine maintenance of bus (e.g., oil change) transporting the bus to and from maintenance facilities. Completes a comprehensive written inspection of the bus daily, reporting any concerns to the supervisor before transporting children/youth.
