In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1. Providing guidance on operational training requirements, policies, and procedures. 2. Providing administrative support for the operational planning of an organizations activities and world-wide missions. 3. Delivering formal and/or informal intelligence briefings to support operation and organizational objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
Serve as an Operations Specialist within the Battalion.
Prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of administrative and operational correspondence, reports, messages, studies, and staff papers as required.
Provide guidance on analysis of requirements as well as their translation and implementation into computer software and hardware that can be employed on the battlefield.
Function as the primary advisory and consultant to the Company Commander on all issues, including operational and support function, to include doctrine and coordination.
Serve as the support requirements specialist, planning, developing, supporting, and providing operational and technical guidance.
Plan all component requirements, functions, projects and activities associated with the employment of soldiers.
