Description Objective of Position: Prepares and finishes metal surfaces of trailers in preparation for painting process. Principal Responsibilities: Follows surface preparation specifications on trailers and accessories. Follows supervisor/assistant supervisor’s instructions. Uses blasting equipment to remove rust, carbon, mill scale and weld spatter. May be required to use buffers and chippers etc. to clean hard to reach areas.
