You will assist the supervisor in assigning work to the work group. You will take lead in laying out work and personally performs the difficult tasks. You will ensure that necessary tools, equipment and materials to do the job are available to accomplish the work and resolves any problems that may arise that would prevent personnel from accomplishing their task. You will check work in progress, provide on the job training for new employees, assure compliance with fire, safety and other regulations. You will keep supervisor informed of work progress, operational programs and delays and when required, request assistance in resolving disruption problems.
