Description

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do work of the position without more than normal supervision. Coordinating the packaging and assembly of supporting documentation and materials to meet deadlines Interpreting and checking plans, blueprints and sketches Setting up and using equipment and techniques to minimize material waste and labor costs Maintaining records, and running material reports in various computer applications Applicants must meet the requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualification Handbook for Trades and Labor Occupations. You will assist others in eliminating backlogs by resequencing work as requested.
You will track needed material and make sure it is available when job starts.
You will identify and track prefabrication work and set priorities and track work accomplished.
You will maintain records of all materials, staged and delivered to the personnel performing the work.
You will identify hazardous materials and determine project location for pick-up and disposal of such materials.
