Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Provide guidance on the monitoring of classification regulations; 2) Establish security policies and procedures for organization and all stakeholders; 3) Conduct security education programs that provide security briefings to all personnel; and 4) Conduct physical security inspections for facilities to find security vulnerabilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11). Serves as a Special Security Representative for DASAs DEC. Manages the information, personnel, force protection, industrial security, and intelligence programs both at the Collateral and Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) level for DASA DEC. Responsible for all matters involving preparation and implementation of the DASA DEC personnel, physical, COMSEC, OPSEC, and SCI Security Programs. Serve as an Individual Antiterrorism Travel Coordinator for DASAs DEC assisting customers with the submission of foreign travel request in the IATP data base. Analyzes accident and injury reports to discover trends and mishap causes, and to develop recommendations for eliminating or controlling detected hazards. Recommends corrective procedures where potential for injury or property damage exists. Ensures access controls are uniform to maximum extent possible throughout the agency. Manages a document review program for the expeditious retirement of historical materials, proper destruction of excess materials, and to reduce classified holdings.
