Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Senior Service Representative / Courier IIto join our team at 13112 Evening Creek Drive San Diego, CA 92128.Work Schedule: Varying hours between Monday - Friday 11:30 am to 8:00 pm; overtime and rotating weekends may be requiredJob Responsibilities:Serve as a floater for the logistics team by providing coverage for various courier routes in the San Diego county and the Imperial countyDeliver on-route training, coaching, and support for new couriers/driversAssist with dispatch tasks and pickups when requiredLoad all necessary supplies needed for daily pickup routesComplete the daily pickup schedule efficiently and on timeDeliver all collected items to your assigned branch at the end of each shiftHandle specimens and lab samples safely and in compliance with all protocols and regulationsOperate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws and company policiesUse handheld electronic devices to manage, document, and track daily pickupsCommunicate closely with the dispatcher regarding additional or urgent pickupsAdjust to traffic patterns, weather conditions, and alternative routes as neededMinimum Qualifications:No experience or education requiredPreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent3 years or more experience as a driver or medical courier1 year or more experiences Customer serviceAdditional Job Standards:Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years oldPunctual with strong time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to problem solve customer issuesAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.Pay Range: $17.75 - $35.00 per hourPlus 2nd shift differentialsAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
