Student Trainee (Human Capital Modernization Project) - Office of Management and Budget

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to: Quickly learn new processes, systems, and responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Manage multiple priorities, track milestones and complete work within established timeframes. Work collaboratively with team members to gather input, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Review HR metrics, identify trends, and contribute to data-driven recommendations for workforce planning and organizational effectiveness. Prepare summaries, reports or progress updates. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Preferred qualifications not required: Students majoring in human resources, human capital, business administration, organizational leadership or related field. In the Student Trainee (Human Capital Modernization Project), your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Conducts reviews of all Position Descriptions within the PD library. Assigns all Office of Management and Budget (OMB) personnel to the appropriate PD numbers. Prepares for workforce conversions and organizational changes resulting from executive orders. Supports the ongoing modernization and enhancement of the PD library. Engages with peers and team members to obtain knowledge needed to complete projects. Maintains accurate documentation and records for all assigned projects. Participates in team meetings and collaborating with colleagues. Presents findings for projects and assignments.
