Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be physically fit as work involves lifting, pulling, climbing, crawling, working with hands over head, working in confined areas, and using arm and back muscles in tightening of connections. He/she must have the ability to be on feet for long periods either standing, walking, working off ladder or staging materials and lift equipment weighing 60 pounds and over. Duties include, but are not limited to: Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems and associated fixtures, controls and equipment. Work from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, electrical manufactures maintenance and repair manuals to plan and lay out the routing, placement, type, size, gauge, balance and load of electrical lines. Determine location of panels, pull and junction boxes, conduits and all associated fittings. Respond to customer reported issues. Test, troubleshoot and independently determine an appropriate course of action. Determine installations and repairs including such things as the types, sizes, gauges and lay out of conduit, wiring, couplings, fittings, relays, controls and distribution panels and other electrical systems and best methods of installation and repair.
