Facilities Maintenance Service Technician (Distribution Center)Location -Buford, GA, USA - 4435 Thompson Mill Road Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $25-27/hr (depending upon experience). Shift: Monday - Friday 12pm - 8:30pmNote: OT mandatory if required. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.This position involves ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the distribution center facility by monitoring building systems, conducting routine inspections, and coordinating maintenance activities. This individual will evaluate facility needs, recommend improvements to optimize space utilization, and support uninterrupted operations through proactive facility management and maintenance practices.What You'll NeedThe ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a distribution center, manufacturing, or industrial environment, along with strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.Qualifications include:Facility maintenance, maintenance technician, or service technician experience.Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment used in a distribution center environment.Knowledge of and ability to safely operate maintenance-related tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, and similar equipment.Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center environments.Exposure to multiple maintenance and skilled trades, including mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with frontline employees, vendors, and leadership teams.Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new equipment, technologies, and conveyance systems.Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety standards.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.May work at heights at timesNote - This posting is an overview of role and not reflective of all responsibilities/qualifications required for the position.
