INSULATOR SUPERVISOR I - United States Fleet Forces Command

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will plan, schedule, and assign work normally accomplished by Pipecoverers and Insulators, helpers, and apprentice Pipecoverers and Insulators. You will keep work operations under close observation and control. You will resolve working problems and take action to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and other causes of delay and inefficiency. You will consult with other Supervisors of their trade and other shops on equipment needs, technical problems, and schedule revisions to avoid delays.
