Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will prepare lesson plans, training materials, including visual aids, for the development of learning through classroom and on-the-job scenarios. You will teach basic trade nuclear theory and practical work. You will conduct mock-up training in nuclear pipefitting overhaul, repair, and conversion work assimilating in a controlled environment. You will schedule and coordinate practical nuclear work experience in the shop as closely as possible with the progression of learning. You will counsel employees on the day-to-day problems involving nuclear trade theory and trade practices as well as other related topics. You will maintain records and prepare reports on trainee progress and performance throughout the training process.
