Program Analyst (Travel and Transportation) - U.S. Coast Guard

To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Travel Program Analysis - experience in all matters relating to policy development for military travel and transportation execution, financial management, interpretation of budgetary policy and authorization law as they relate to all travel and transportation program areas. Travel Program Oversight - experience with oversight and analysis of policies and procedures, and liaison with other staff organization elements and other Government agencies on travel and transportation issues. Travel Program Administration - experience conducting studies and making recommendations on various administrative and travel program management functions. You will serve as a Program Analyst (Travel and Transportation) and be responsible for administering program initiatives associated with USCG military personnel travel and transportation policy and is responsible for advising on budgeting and financial management issues and activities. Typical work assignments include: Advising and assisting Senior Leadership on all matters relating to policy development for military travel and transportation execution, financial management, interpretation of budgetary policy and authorization law as they relate to all travel and transportation program areas. Overseeing allocations for program funds for the administration of tangential DOD travel and transportation programs concerning military personnel. Coordinates and recommends priorities among competing needs. Identifying, verifying and assessing causes and methods for resolution of problems or impediments affecting the program.
