To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Demonstrated experience applying principles and methods of real property inventory management, including accounting, construction management, contracting, and acquisition procedures. Proficient in using relational databases and Geospatial Information Services (GIS) for asset tracking and inventory management. Skilled in reviewing and interpreting construction documents, site plans, surveys, and plats to validate asset data and associated costs. Experience conducting physical and virtual inventories, reconciling asset data, and certifying inventory adjustments. Reviewed and approved funding certification documents, ensuring proper accounting for real property actions throughout project lifecycles. You will serve as a Real Property Specialist and be responsible for the proper management and archiving of documentation supporting all acquisitions, modifications, and disposals of real property. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Manage, execute, and oversee real property inventory programs, incorporating knowledge of related financial, construction, and acquisition processes. Maintains accurate real property inventory utilizing relational databases, Geospatial Information Services (GIS), Coast Guard Finance Center (FINCEN) Fixed Asset software, and Microsoft applications. Evaluates and manages complex construction and real property to validate asset data, verify in-service and divestiture dates, and reconcile associated costs. Executes physical and virtual inventories, certifying changes and ensuring the absolute accuracy, completeness, and auditability of all real property data. Direct facility condition assessments, funding certification approvals, project management data updates, and real property accounting throughout the project lifecycle.
