Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will provide technical trade leadership to a small working group. You will ensure necessary materials are available, and tools and equipment are in good, safe operational condition to accomplish work. You will recommend specific task assignments for each member of the work crew. You will instruct subordinates on any unusual work steps or requirements, including the safe operation of equipment.
