A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must possess a degree in Turf Grass management/Agronomy. Required to have a broad background in Golf Course maintenance and operations, having experience and knowledge of established agronomic practices. Required to have a knowledge of various types of pests and the pesticides required for treatment. Be a graduate of the Navy Department, Medical Entomology and Pest Control Technology Course of attend and complete the course within 6 months after employment. Experience in determining the method of operation and analysis of complex problems and interpretations of procedures. Required having a working knowledge and professional expertise of Golf Course equipment. Required having knowledge and understanding of the rules of golf along with the ability to view golf course from the perspective of the patron. Must possess ability to lead and supervise employees.
