Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating procedures and processes to increase SUBSAFE program effectiveness by applying knowledge of trade theories, practices, and techniques to administer, plan, and execute SUBSAFE policies and procedures to ensure accordance to program requirements. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will serve as subject matter expert of Electrical Division operations to support the SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC, FBW SCS and REC program.
You will advise and instruct mechanics and supervisors on proper methods and procedures to be used to accomplish the work in accordance with SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC, FBW SCS and REC program.
You will perform necessary research of technical literature to ensure work performed is accurate and acceptable.
You will conduct personal investigations of equipment/systems and consults with manufacturersโ representatives and mechanics for the purpose of collecting information not readily available.
You will conduct internal audits of significant scope and mission impact.
You will provide training feedback and review training material to ensure the Shipyard has ample personnel qualified and certified to perform duties of the Electrical Division.
You will study, analyze, and advise on work practices to maintain watertight integrity of Sub systems/equipment for PHNSY-IMF.
