Lead Recreation Assistant (Physical Fitness) NF-02 - United States Army Installation Management Command

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must demonstrate the ability to offer excellent guest service. Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire. Works as a Lead Recreation Assistant (Physical Fitness) at the Fitness Center. Updates Fitness Facility Manager on all issues concerning the Fitness Center on a regular basis (daily and weekly). Makes suggestions for improvements. Instructs, monitors and assists other Recreation Aids in proper opening procedures, maintenance of the venter, and standards required to keep the Fitness Center in tip-top shape to ensure guest satisfaction. Works as a receptionist and facility worker. Is responsible for cleaning of fitness machines, fitness, locker rooms and pool areas. Must be familiar with the operation all fitness equipment and be able to explain use to guests. Opens and closes facility daily which includes turning on and off lights, TVs, music, steam room, sauna whirlpool, stocking towels, cleaning, etc. Reports any problems to the Fitness Facility Manager as soon as possible in order to maintain a high quality service to our guests. Performs other duties as assigned.
