Maintenance Mechanic (Seasonal) - National Park Service

In order to be qualified for this position you must possess the ability to do the work of the position with no more than normal supervision. Experience must be demonstrated in the following trades: Masonry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Painting. You must provide specific examples in your resume of how you meet the qualification listed above. Major Duties: Performs routine and corrective maintenance of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, building components, and equipment. Performs work using simple and complex measures and hand tools on such tasks as painting, electrical, plumbing, etc. Performs painting projects using appropriate tools and techniques. Performs plumbing repairs such as, faucet replacement, drain cleaning/repair. Performs electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures and outlets.
