Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing building maintenance and facilities management, including prioritizing and submitting work requests for operations, maintenance, and contract work, experience in government property management and accountability, including the use of systems like the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), and the ability to track status of multiple projects and provide regular updates to management. Proficient in processing official mail. Familiarity with regulations regarding Government Vehicles and the Fleet and Fuel Card usage. You will assist Supervisor of Shipbuilding Gulf Coast (SSGC) staff by providing them with transport and handling logistics information and advice to aid in planning for expansion, consolidation, or relocation.
You will act as key custodian for Help Desk functions; development and maintenance logs for all work requests and providing the user with weekly status updates.
You will be the liaison between provider (contractor) in aiding SSGC employees to acquire adequate spaces, services and in the maintenance of facilities.
You will serve as point of contact for all SSGC parking spaces.
You will share the responsibility of managing the operations of a fleet of leased vehicles, i.e. passenger car, van, bus and tractor-trailer.
You will oversee receipt of all incoming mail, correspondence, and messages in accordance with established procedures.
You will provide administrative services in the review and control of correspondence and the preparation and coordination of administrative policies and procedures.
